Tova's Kitchen

Tova's Kitchen

Tova’s Kitchen is located in the Bukharan quarter of Jerusalem.  The kitchen is the size of a small shed. Tova used to cook every Wednesday for a group of elderly men who otherwise wouldn't be getting a hot meat meal. And, when she cooked, poor people in the neighborhood stopped by to get a plastic “doggie bag” to go of the same chicken, rice and vegetables. Unfortunately she is no longer physically able to cook every week so we are able to pay all her needs out of our “seed money.” We keep this vignette as she epitomizes what HOT is all about.
