The Hands On Tzedakah/Donna Klein Jewish Academy Community Service Program
Donna Klein Jewish Academy, in Boca Raton, Florida, is a Jewish day school serving over 600 students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, from all branches of Judaism. The 56 students who comprise the high school earn mandatory community service hours by choosing from volunteer opportunities selected by their Community Service Coordinator. And while the hours served are numerous and worthwhile, the students have not had a chance to initiate or design a project on their own.
